About Marta Hayne:

Dr. Hayne grew up in West Virginia, but has been a Lexingtonian for quite some time.  She originally came to Lexington, KY to attend Transylvania University, and after completing medical school at West Virginia University, she returned to complete her Radiation Oncology Residency at the University of Kentucky and she has never left.  She was the first partner to join with Dr. Beckman at Radiation Oncology of Lexington, and has been an integral part of the practice for over 20 years.  She is and has been one of major drivers behind the growth of Radiation Oncology of Lexington, including playing a major part in bringing CyberKnife and Brachytherapy to Baptist Health.  She is nationally recognized for several treatments for breast cancer such as partial breast irradiation and mammosite brachytherapy, and she has extensive experience treating patients using CyberKnife Radiosurgery.  She is well known for her caring and loving personality, and serves as a member of the Baptist Health Foundation.  She has family here in Lexington, and recently started her own farm in central Kentucky.  In her spare time, she loves to travel and play tennis.
